The sexualisation of young people is a very current issue.

This course aims to raise awareness about how sexualized content impacts  young people. It gives staff an opportunity to consider the effect on young people’s relationships, new technology such as deepfakes and AI and the legal implications that may arise. This can be a sensitive issue and is important to raise the awareness of young people of any risks that may come with the choices they make.

• The impact of pornography on the sexualisation of young people 

• Risk of online abuse, including new technology such as deepfakes

• The law in relation to inappropriate sexualised content
